The Role
We are seeking a Quantitative Analyst to join a dynamic analytics team building advanced models for market surveillance and financial data analysis. This group designs and maintains the algorithms that identify patterns of market abuse and support compliance teams at leading financial institutions.
You’ll collaborate with experienced quants and software engineers to design, test, and optimise models that capture the complexities of trading behaviour across asset classes. The work combines strong mathematics, clean and efficient coding and a curiosity about how global markets function.
This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who wants to apply quantitative and technical skills to impactful, real-world challenges in a fast-growing fintech environment.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Strong mathematical and analytical background (degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or similar)
- Initial experience in a quant, data, or software role within financial services (internship or full-time)
- Understanding of derivatives and risk sensitivities (e.g. Delta, Gamma, DV01)
- Proficiency in C#, C++, or Python
- Interest in trading dynamics and how markets operate across equities, fixed income, and commodities
- Confidence to experiment, test ideas, and learn new technologies
- Collaborative, curious, and motivated to grow in a technically demanding environment
