The Role
This opportunity is ideal for a C++ engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and enjoys seeing their work directly impact trading performance. You’ll design, implement and optimise automated trading systems and supporting infrastructure, contributing to the continuous evolution of a world-class proprietary trading platform.
You’ll collaborate across research, systems and operations teams to build new exchange connectivity, improve trading logic and ensure reliability and scalability across distributed systems. Engineers are given significant autonomy and are encouraged to investigate new technologies to enhance system performance and robustness.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Strong modern C++ programming skills and solid software engineering fundamentals
- Experience developing and debugging performance-critical, real-time, or distributed systems
- Familiarity with Linux and multithreaded programming
- Interest in system-level optimisation (e.g. profiling, benchmarking, lock-free data structures)
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work collaboratively or independently
- Experience in trading systems, networking, or low-latency environments is advantageous but not required
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
