The Role
A leading player in the digital asset trading space is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to drive the performance, scalability, and resilience of their trading infrastructure. Based in London with a flexible hybrid model, you’ll be at the heart of a small, elite SRE team supporting global operations.
You’ll be hands-on with multi-region Kubernetes clusters, cloud and bare-metal environments, and automation using Infrastructure as Code. From exchange connectivity and observability to CI/CD pipelines and disaster recovery, you’ll play a vital role in building systems that power billions in daily crypto liquidity.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Proven expertise with Kubernetes and container security; multi-cluster/global deployments a plus
- Deep knowledge of Linux internals, networking (routing, switching, firewalls), DNS, and service discovery
- Programming experience in Python, Golang or Rust
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools and managing immutable infrastructure
- Familiarity with CD tools such as FluxCD, ArgoCD and modern CI/CD pipeline design
- Understanding of distributed systems, messaging (Kafka, Aeron), and high-performance compute
- Database skills across MySQL and MongoDB; exposure to Flyway or Liquibase advantageous
Bonus Skills and Experience
- Crypto or trading industry experience, data centre ops, or low-latency systems exposure
