Job Description
London, New York, or Chicago | Hybrid
- Join a small, high-impact engineering team at the core of global trading operations
- Work with petabyte-scale time series data powering real-time and historical trading decisions
- Build performant APIs, pipelines, and data infrastructure from the ground up
- Competitive compensation with significant upside, and a strong engineering-led culture
The Role
This is a hands-on engineering role working on the design, build, and ownership of mission-critical data systems that support complex trading strategies across asset classes such as Fixed Income, Commodities, FX, and delta one. You’ll partner closely with traders, researchers, and other technical teams to design scalable data products used in both real-time and historical contexts. Your work will span real-time data ingestion, time series storage, and the development of intuitive APIs for data access. You’ll take full ownership of systems – from architecture to production – and be empowered to make technical decisions that drive trading outcomes. This team values pragmatism, thoughtful design, and cross-functional collaboration. It’s a great fit for engineers who thrive in low-ego, fast-paced environments and enjoy taking initiative in ambiguous problem spaces.

- Experience with pipeline orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Dagster) and data lake technologies (e.g. Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg)
- Understanding of Linux-based, high-throughput distributed systems
- Financial markets experience (particularly delta one, store of value, or FICC options) is a plus
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Degree in Computer Science, Maths, Physics, Engineering or equivalent practical experience

- Highly competitive base salary (from £130k to £160k)
- Substantial annual discretionary bonus
- Top-tier benefits including health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, pension scheme, and more
- Collaborative, engineering-led culture where autonomy is encouraged and innovation is rewarded
- Offices in London, New York, and Chicago, with hybrid working options
