Quantitative Developer, London, Hybrid

Our client is currently looking for a talented and passionate Quantitative Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Quant Developer, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with Quant Researchers to tackle a diverse range of challenges, from implementing new trading strategies to developing cutting-edge research frameworks and quant libraries. This role offers the chance to work with a variety of technologies and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in the financial markets.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Exceptional technical skills with expertise in Python and Linux platforms
  • Strong collaborative software engineering techniques and methods
  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques and relevant libraries (e.g., NumPy, SciPy, Pandas)
  • Relevant mathematical knowledge (e.g., statistics, asset pricing theory, optimization algorithms)
  • A degree with high mathematical and computing content from a leading university

Advantageous but strictly required

  • Experience in front-office quantitative software development
  • Familiarity with visualization technology for managing large and complex data sets
  • Machine-learning techniques and tools
  • Personal projects and open-source involvement demonstrating a passion for technology
